► INTRO Heart Beat picked a suitable line up for this special occasion. A label night with three young talented label owners and music wise it links nicely to the style of Arcan. Founded in 2015 as a hobby project by three friends and music enthusiasts Jan, Jur and Moritz, transatlanticfm.eu initially served as a free online radio station that would broadcast some of their favorite gems and newest record finds — with a wide spectrum of genres ranging from dark ambient to early experimental music, obscure krautrock, detroit techno and electro, industrial, EBM, new wave and more — blended perfectly into hypnotic hour-long mixes. After a remarkable response among several music heads online, the three went on and took the internet radio to the next level and turned it into a vinyl-only label called TRANSATLANTIC. ► NEWS: Nthng and his Transatlantic gang playing 6th of April on Equation Hanoi!
►Intro Venue: ARCAN is a new underground entertainment venue, designed and operated by Goss & Flo and their crew through their company Asian Rave Connection Ltd.
Created in June 2017, ARC Ltd aims at creating various businesses to promote underground TeKno culture and other subcultural music genders such as Psy-Trance, Techno or Drum & Bass.
ARCAN, the first of those, will open its doors for the first time on Friday 13th of April 2018 for non-stop 3 days rave party, by night in the Club and during the day in the Restaurant by the swimming pool. A15kW indoor FBT sound system set up by Medusa and an International first for Pikip outdoor solar sound-system. Not to mention the unique psychedelic deco from The Mas Studio (Hadra Association) showcased for the first time in a club in Vietnam.
► NTHNG [aka Jur ] LABEL OWNER Transatlantic RECORDING ARTIST ON Delsin, Mork, Lobster Theremin and many more. Jur aka Nthng, Transatlantic co-founder kicked off with the first vinyl release ‘The Traveller ‘in April 2017, which was distributed by UK imprint and distributor Lobster Theremin and was critically acclaimed by online electronic music portals.
“Big debut release from Transatlantic as they unleash three storming, trance fueled techno numbers from nthng. You know the drill. Nobody is safe” — Lobster Theremin.

The Amsterdam-based DJ and producer nthng has already played in some of the most renowned night clubs in the world like Berghain in Berlin, DV1 in Lyon, Bassiani in Tbilisi or Razzmatazz in Barcelona among many others, and has released on respected labels such as Delsin, Lobster Theremin or Mörk.
EUROPA [ aka Moritz] Label Owner Transatlantic – RECORDING ARTIST ON Lobster Theremin
Transatlantic’s second salvo came from debutant Europa, a producer who’s not ashamed to showcase his (or her) many influences. Opener “Facegrinder I”, for example, boasts ghetto-tech style pitched-up beats (and vocal samples), glacial synthesizer melodies reminiscent of Kraftwerk’s Trance Europe Express album, and the kind of ragged, mind-bending acid lines that were once the preserve of Rephlex Records’ battery of brain-dance nutters. The braindance influence comes through even louder on the pleasingly skewed “Facegrinder II”, whose mentalist beats are this time accompanied by choral vocal samples and sweeping strings. Finally, he pays tribute to everyone’s favourite analogue loon, Aphex Twin, on the brilliant (and bonkers) “In The Jungle (Meeting With Richard David James)”.
The enigmatic young producer and DJ Europa is currently based in Hamburg, Germany and studies at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. He draws his electronic music inspiration from many renowned artists such as Basic Channel, Aphex Twin or Muslimgauze and has been playing the piano since early age. Europa has played various clubs and festivals across Europe such as Mägede Hääl, Estonia, Mono in Hamburg or Griessmühle in Berlin.
Mohammed Al Hamza [aka Jan]- Co founder Transatlantic
In one of his many genre-less mixes for transatlanticfm.eu — the co-founder and brain behind the Transatlantic label, Jan showcases his affinity and deep understanding for obscure music from all across the globe and has no holding back when it comes to challenging the crowd on the dance floor.
Currently based in New York, fashion management student Jan functions as the Transatlantic label manager and host of their internet radio transatlanticfm.eu and has played for label showcases in festivals like Mägede Hääl, Estonia and various music platforms such as Shourai, Amsterdam or Freies Radio Stuttgart and last Equation and now he
re in Saigon!

►CHRIS WOLTER hailing from Hanse city Rostock, with a very active scene, as we all have experienced these past years. At least 5 guests from the Rostock area come over to Saigon. Chris is already more than 7 years part of the Vietnamese culture and of course founding father (Papa) of Heart Beat. Made his debut in 2004 as DJ and in 2008 his first set in Vietnam during the Hanoi Soundstuff Festival. Now also performing and releasing under his alias Phuc Long on HRBR a new imprint with BAX as head honcho. And in 2018 expect several EP from his hand after the relaunch of Heart Beat Recordings, now rebranded as Pink Room records
►VISUALS by EROL – no light show will be needed, standing all night besides the DJ’s this one man live show called Erol produces the visuals that will entangle with the sonic typhoon the artist create and release. It is the Lightning going with the storm, the techno Viking god in person and hard NOT to get hypnotized by his creations.

►NTHNG [aka Jur ] CHỦ HÃNG ĐĨA, kiêm NGHỆ SĨ GHI ÂM ở Delsin, Mork, Lobster Theremin và nhiều cái tên khác. Jur hay Nthng là đồng sáng lập Transatlantic tung ra vinyl đầu tiên The Traveller tháng 4 năm 2017, được Lobster Theremin (Anh) phat hành và được khen ngợi tại khắp các cổng âm nhạc điện tử trực tuyến.

► EUROPA [ aka Moritz] Chủ Transatlantic – NGHỆ SĨ GHI ÂM tại Lobster Theremin. Cứu tinh thứ hai của Transatlantic đến từ Europa trong lần đầu anh ra mắt, là một producer không ngại phô bày những ảnh hưởng đa dạng của mình. Chẳng hạn, track mở đầu Facegrindder I là những beat nhạc ghetto-tech (và sample giọng hát), các giai điệu synth lạnh buốt làm liên tưởng đến Trance Europe Express của Kraftwerk, và những câu acid ì ạch, khôn tả từng thuộc sở hữu của những gã điên IDM tại Rephlex Records. Europa đã trình diễn tại các hộp đêm và festival khắp Châu Âu như Mägede Hääl, Estonia, Mono ở Hamburg hay Griessmühle ở Berlin.
► Mohammed Al Hamza [aka Jan]- Đồng sáng lập Transatlantic Trong nhiều mix đa dạng của mình ở transatlanticfm.eu, đồng sáng lập kiêm đầu não Transatlantic Jan (tức Mohammed Al Hamza) đã thể hiện sự yêu thích và thấu hiểu những âm nhạc hiếm quý ở khắp quả địa cầu và chẳng chút nao núng muốn thử thách đám đông trên sàn nhảy.
Hiện sống tại New York, sinh viên ngành quản lý thời trang, Jan là quản lý ở Transatlantic và kênh radio transatlanticfm.eu, từng trình diễn tại các festival như Mägede Hääl (Estonia) cũng như nhiều điểm hẹn âm nhạc khác đa dạng như Shourai (Amsterdam) hay Freies Radio (Stuttgart), Equation và giờ đây ngay giữa lòng Sài Gòn!

►CHRIS WOLTER: [Đức] đến từ Rostock, thành phố vùng Hanse, nơi có một bối cảnh âm nhạc luôn chuyển động, như những gì anh đã cho thấy suốt 2 năm qua. Ít nhất đã có 5 vị khách đến Việt Nam từ Rostock xa xôi. Chris, anh đã sống 7 năm trong văn hóa Việt Nam và dĩ nhiên không ai khác chính là người sáng lập (bố chưa già) của Heart Beat.
